Job summary

St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA is seeking an RN for Oncology Medicine on the day shift in a per diem, part-time capacity to support the medical/surgical unit.

The RN will supervise LPNs, Unit Assistants and CNAs, use the nursing process, and ensure care is coordinated per hospital policies.

Requirements include LA RN licensure, Board Certified Nursing Program, BLS, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts, with holiday/weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Current LA RN licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with oncology/medicine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing activities for the Medical/Surgical patient using the nursing process.
• Supervise LPNs, Unit Assistants and CNAs and ensure care compliance with policies.
• Support holiday and weekend coverage as required.
