Job summary

The role requires an active RN license, BLS (and ACLS preferred). Previous acute care and ventilator management experience are favored, with BSN preferred for advancement. Per diem status and variable shifts offer flexibility.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
