Job summary

Mercy is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist for a per diem role. You will evaluate patients, plan and implement medically prescribed OT programs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to restore independence and function.

The role requires licensure in the hiring state or eligibility, with NBCOT preferred, and a focus on patient-centered care within Mercy’s clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license in the hiring state or eligibility for licensure.
• NBCOT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional status, medical history, and psychosocial factors to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Establish measurable goals and implement strategies to maximize patient outcomes.
• Deliver patient care that reflects professional ethics, confidentiality, and compassion.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient response and evolving needs.
• Provide orientation and support for new team members and serve as a clinical resource.
