Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. in Boston is seeking an Inpatient Per Diem Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional care across the hospital.

You will evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and medical conditions to optimize function and independence in an acute care setting. This on-site role offers weekend shifts (primarily Saturdays) with occasional weekday coverage, opportunities for professional growth, and access to comprehensive benefits and professional development

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Active State OT license required.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of patients' physical, mental, and developmental abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans, adjusting as needed.
• Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic activities and exercises they can do at home.

• Attend staff meetings, continuing education programs, and professional development activities to stay current with new techniques and best practices.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Inpatient Per Diem Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional care to patients throughout the hospital. In this acute care setting, our Occupational Therapists evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of orthopedic and medical conditions to optimize function and independence.

Weekend (primarily Saturday) and occasional weekday shifts available.
