Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is excited to offer a per diem Occupational Therapy (OT) position to join our team of skilled therapists in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Buffalo, NY. We recruit for a compassionate clinician to provide evaluation and treatment within our rehab gym, with mentorship and clinical support available.

Our team offers flexible scheduling, weekend/evening hours when needed, and access to state-of-the-art technology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current New York State OT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve residents’ pain using exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence and protect facility by keeping information confidential.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members and contribute to team effort.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program

Current New York State OT License
