Job summary

Stellantis is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) in Toledo, Ohio, to lead prevention, recognition, and treatment of on-the-job illnesses and injuries. The OHN will deliver nursing services per federal and state regulations and Stellantis health policies, promoting optimal workplace health and safety.

The OHN must work autonomously with minimal supervision, effectively manage medical emergencies, and often serve as the sole medical care provider.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• 3+ years RN experience required.
• Valid state nursing license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 3 years occupational health or emergency/critical care nursing experience preferred.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational health nursing services in compliance with federal and state regulations and Stellantis health service policies.
• Promote optimum health care and safety in the workplace.
• Manage medical emergencies autonomously and act as single medical care provider when needed.

The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) is responsible for the prevention, recognition, and treatment of on-the-job illness and injuries. This position requires skills and knowledge in health and safety education, counseling, environmental health, safety, rehabilitation, and human relations. The OHN at Stellantis plays an important role in the delivery of nursing services in accordance with federal and state regulations as well as corporate health service policies and procedures. The OHN must work towards promoting optimum health care and safety in the workplace in accordance with the goals and values of the profession and Stellantis. The OHN at Stellantis must be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision, effectively manage medical emergencies, and often work as the single medical care provider. For these reasons, prior nursing experience is imperative to delivering optimal nursing care in an occupational setting.
