Job summary

A leading healthcare staffing firm is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner for a per diem contract role in Los Angeles. This position involves providing critical medical care at a corporate clinic, supporting employee health concerns for over 700 staff. Ideal candidates will have a valid NP license in California, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and be comfortable with onsite health assessments and treatments. Qualifications

• Must have an unrestricted NP license in California.
• Experience in Occupational/Employee Health is essential.
• Prior experience treating medical conditions in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and triage for employee health concerns.
• Provide treatment for injuries and illnesses.
• Administer immunizations and travel vaccines.
• Perform onsite physical assessments.
• Carry out ambulatory care for common ailments.

Skills

Active/unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (FNP/ANP) license in California

Current prescription authority

Minimum 2 years' experience as a provider

Experience in Occupational/Employee Health

Comfortable with blood draws

Education

Nationally Certified (ANCC, AANP)

Current BLS/CPR certification

NPI

Yearly TB Test or QuantiFERON Gold

Tools

Experience with EMR

Experience with Quest
