Job summary

IVIRMA in Portland, ME seeks a compassionate Per Diem Reproductive Sonographer (OB/GYN) to join our fertility center. You will provide ultrasound services, support patient monitoring, and assist with procedures to ensure an excellent patient experience.

Eligible candidates hold ARDMS OB/GYN certification, with fertility ultrasound experience preferred, and must be able to cover clinic hours based on patient volume and staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Current ARDMS OB/GYN certification required.
• Fertility or reproductive ultrasound experience preferred.
• Experience in women's health or outpatient ultrasound setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality reproductive ultrasound examinations per physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, embryologists and clinical team for patient care.
• Accurately document encounters and imaging results in the EMR.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver compassionate care.
• Demonstrate flexibility to support daily clinic operations.
• Participate in orientation, ongoing education, and competency validation.
• Cross cover for prenatal, procedural, and OR monitoring as needed.
