The University of Arizona in Tucson is seeking an on-call/part-time Instructor for Pre-Licensure Nursing to guide students through skills labs, simulations, and clinical practice in BSN and MS-Entry programs. This role supports NCLEX readiness and successful nursing careers, working in a student-facing environment with diverse shifts in a nationally ranked program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) AND at least three years of clinical experience as an RN providing direct patient care.
• Enrollment in or completion of applicable graduate-level coursework OR possession of relevant national certification.
• Graduate Degree in Nursing, or a related field, with at least two years of clinical experience as an RN providing direct patient care.
• Graduate degree in nursing (preferred).
• Experience teaching in higher education (preferred).
• National certification in the area of clinical practice (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Teach and guide students in clinical and practical courses related to assigned programs.
• Provide instruction for students during skills labs, simulations, and/or clinicals, which may include assigned day shifts, night shift, or weekend experiences.
• Occupational health and safety: Must satisfy clinical site compliance requirements (complete drug screening, BLS, vaccination requirements, and/or additional background check).
