City of Hope is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care while partnering with a collaborative multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will use clinical expertise, nursing judgment, and advocacy skills to guide patients and families through every step of their care experience.

City of Hope is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care while partnering with a collaborative multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise, nursing judgment, and advocacy skills to help guide patients and families through every step of their care experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver professional nursing care using the City of Hope nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation.
  • Coordinate care planning with physicians and other disciplines to support a comprehensive, team-based approach.
  • Administer medications and manage controlled substances safely and responsibly within scope of licensure.
  • Support examinations, procedures, and other direct-care activities that help patients receive timely, high-quality care.
  • Triage, assess, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care for patients, visitors, and employees.
  • Educate patients and family members with clear, compassionate guidance that supports confidence and understanding.
  • Provide telephone advice using established protocols, clinical expertise, and sound nursing judgment.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and records to support safe, coordinated treatment.
  • Create a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment aligned with hospital standards.
  • Model professional practice that promotes quality care, accountability, and positive working relationships.
  • Continue to grow professionally through education, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
Your qualifications should include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or graduated from a nursing school with a diploma, Associates Degree in Nursing and currently enrolled in a BSN Program (Must obtain BSN within 2 years of hire or transfer.
  • 1-3 years experience in an Acute care setting and/or outpatient setting
  • Current BLS card with American Heart Association
