Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. seeks a per diem LPN or RN to administer medications and support clients within an outpatient treatment program, including the Middlesex House of Correction. Per diem schedule requires three shifts per month, with Mondays in particular.

Qualifications

• Requires MA LPN or RN licensure
• CPR certification required or within 90 days of hire
• Demonstrates independent judgement in emergencies and problems
• Effective written and verbal communication in diverse settings
• Experience in substance use/mental health or acute care preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer medication per policy.
• Control, count, and document onsite medications.
• Educate clients on use, purpose, side effects, and other medication information.
• Verify medication orders with the physician and transcribe orders.
• Assist in admission process and document substance use diagnoses.
