Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for per diem/PRN shifts in Missouri. The role involves preparing, measuring, and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies, performing nuclear medicine procedures, and ensuring patient safety in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from approved school of Radiology Sciences with certification in Nuclear Medicine.
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist License required if practicing in Arkansas.
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) Registry or Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 2 months of eligibility).
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Preferred: 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies.
• Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies.
• Is responsible for patient safety protocols.
• Maintains all federal, state, local and regulatory agency requirements.
• Participates in CQI activities.
