Job summary

Bella Vida Center in Chico, CA is seeking a Mental Health Worker/Direct Care Staff to support a 24-hour crisis residential program. You will lead rehabilitation activities, supervise client interactions, and help maintain safety and order on site.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of direct care experience with mental health clients, CPR certification, and a valid California driver's license. Per diem position with 12-hour night shifts and shifts available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of full-time direct care experience with mental health clients.
• CPR certification and valid California driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate rehabilitation activities and group social activities.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Monitor safety and maintain line of sight for all clients.
• Ensure medication is taken on schedule as directed.
• Document incidents and report noncompliance to Administrator.
• Assist in assessments, crisis counseling, and case management as directed.
• Accompany clients to offsite resources or events.
