Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Laurel Highlands in Latrobe, PA, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem night shifts. You will manage admissions/transfers, conduct systematic patient assessments, and document using appropriate systems, while counseling patients and families.

The role offers a $44.00 per hour base pay, with night and weekend differentials, plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Flexible scheduling and advancement opportunities support your career growth.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License
• BLS is required at hire
• ACLS is required at hire

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed accurately
• Perform Rapid Response and code events as needed
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned
