Job summary

Select Medical Neuro Transitional Care Center in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Neuro Rehab Coach to assist patients in rehabilitation and daily living activities under nurse delegation.

This PRN role requires a high school diploma and BLS certification; a valid driver's license is required. On-site work with a supportive team, compensation at $21/hour, and potential 401k eligibility for extended hours or progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Current high school diploma or equivalent
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Current State Driver's License in good standing required

Responsibilities

• Assists patients in rehabilitation and medical recovery and maintains facility aesthetics and cleanliness
• Direct patient care, housekeeping, cooking, and nurse delegation tasks as directed
• Engage patients in activities of daily living and therapist-directed activities
• Follow patient care plans with the transdisciplinary team to promote education and engagement
• Assist patients to achieve goals in home, therapy, and community settings
• Support meal planning, food prep, groceries, inventory, and suite/housekeeping tasks
• Ensure patient safety and review weekly residential recommendations for supervision levels
• Perform other duties as assigned
