Cleveland Clinic in Mayfield Heights, OH is seeking a PRN NICU RN to provide direct care to neonates and coordinate multidisciplinary care in a flexible, per diem role.

Requirements include RN licensure, BLS, and NRP within a year of employment. External candidates typically need 2 years NICU experience; internal candidates may be considered with approval. Work at Hillcrest Hospital on a per diem, variable schedule.

Formación

• RN licensure is required.
• NRP certification within one year of employment.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years NICU nursing experience for external applicants; internal applicants may be considered with approval.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care to neonates in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.
