Job summary

ImageCare Radiology seeks an MRI Technologist for our Hackettstown office on a per-diem basis. You will perform MRI exams for patients across ages, including contrast administration, and coordinate with physicians to ensure accurate, timely imaging.

The role requires a high school diploma with specialized training, BLS certification, and ARRT/ARMRIT certification. Onboarding begins with reporting to Mount Olive for first day orientation.

Qualifications

• Educational background includes high school diploma with specialized training.
• Experience in diagnostic radiography is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations on patients of all ages with contrast as needed.
• Coordinate with referring physicians and radiologist for timely procedures.
• Understand MRI scheduling procedures and maintain records.
• Maintain clean, stocked work area and film file records.
• Keep continuing education up to ARRT/ARMRIT requirements.
• Provide quality patient care and handle related duties as assigned.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable MRI Technologist to join our dynamic team at our Hackettstown office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing MRI procedures for referring physicians of a quality that aids in the diagnosis of the patient. Please note that all candidates must report to Mount Olive for first day onboarding.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform MRI examinations on patients of all ages including the administration of contrast material as assigned in accordance with established guidelines in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination and treatment providing the highest patient care.
2. Organize and document all aspects of assigned patient care in coordination with referring physician and the radiologist to ensure accurate and timely performance of procedures.
3. Knowledge of scheduling procedures for MRI.
4. Maintenance and organization of patient film file records.
5. Maintain continuing education units as required to ensure ARRT/ARMRIT certification.
6. Maintain a clean and stocked work area.
7. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specificskill area; plus 1+ years of related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• BLS Certification (Required)
• ARRT/ARMRIT Certification (Required)
• Diagnostic Radiography License (Preferred, but not required)

• Hackettstown, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

EXPERIENCE:

• Siemens Machine: 1 year (Preferred)
