Aurora Medical Group, part of Advocate Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse for per diem coverage in Wisconsin. You will support providers, welcome patients, and help ensure a compassionate care experience across ambulatory services.

Per diem hours are typically Monday–Friday, 7am-3:30pm with occasional weekends and holidays. The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate records, and patient-focused care in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• LPN license issued by the state where the team practices.
• MA: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required within 45 days unless department leader determines it is not required.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
