Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Washington state invites a per diem Medical Assistant to support providers in back-office clinic activities, including injections, phlebotomy and screening tasks. This role offers a flexible schedule with 0–20 hours per week and shifts Mon–Fri between early morning and early evening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant per WA State DOH or able to obtain within 30 days.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation.

The Medical Assistant performs a variety of back office activities to assist providers in conducting quality clinics, including administering injections, diagnostic testing, phlebotomy, quality surveys and various other procedures. Delivers exceptional customer service and maintains established quality control standards.

This is a per diem position with a flexible schedule based on department needs. Hours may range from 0 to 20 per week, with shifts available Monday through Friday between 6:45 AM and 7:00 PM.

Required Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED


• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant via Washington State Department of Health or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire


• Current CPR and / or BLS certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire


• Access to reliable transportation

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 - $29 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
