Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange is seeking a Nursing Assistant for Med Surg Acute in Orange, CA.

This Per Diem position involves 12-hour Day shifts, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering routine patient care and assisting with patient needs. Qualified candidates have 6 months of acute care, psych experience or have completed the first semester of an RN program or Nurse Assistant education; BLS may be required for hire.

Qualifications

• One of: 6 months acute care, psych or completion of 1st semester of Registered Nurse Academic Program or Nurse Assistant equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Report pertinent information to the Registered Nurse and respond to patient care needs.
