Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers in Roswell, NM seeks a detail oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to dispense prescribed medications as part of a treatment team. You will collaborate with Physicians and Nursing Supervisors, maintain dispensing equipment, and manage medication inventory in a compliant outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates possess NM LPN licensure, CPR certification, and experience with chemical dependency treatment.

Qualifications

• Current & good standing LPN license in New Mexico.
• Current CPR certification.
• EMR/computer proficiency preferred.
• Experience in chemical dependency treatment preferred.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medication to patients per program policy, including Methadone and Suboxone.
• Use automated dispensing systems, calibrate pump and maintain dispensing equipment.
• Produce and maintain records and reports as required by company protocol and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances as per CFR.
• Order, receive and stock medication per DEA and State regulations.
• Provide daily assessment of patients.
• Assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new nursing staff.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor.
