Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA seeks experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team in the Hampton Roads area. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, and coordinate with a broader care team on an as-needed basis.

The position offers per diem hours, competitive pay of $37–$39 per hour, and options for rapid-pay. Eligible staff may receive a hiring bonus after completing two shifts, with ongoing weekly pay and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
