Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope, administer medications, document patient information, and support wound care and education.

Per diem shifts offer flexible scheduling with same-day/next-day pay, a hiring bonus after 2 shifts, and weekly compensation. Local applicants only; FCN is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year facility-based experience requested.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements; no weight restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
