Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Per diem shifts offer flexible scheduling with the potential for full-time hours and rapid pay options.

Candidates must hold an active LPN license, have at least one year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR certification. PPD testing within the last year is required to ensure preparedness for patient care responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• PPD test within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
