Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team in Hampton Roads, VA. Expect competitive pay of $37-$39 per hour, with same-day or next-day pay options and a hiring bonus after two shifts.

We offer weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and local staffing coordinators available 5 AM–11:30 PM. Local applicants only; FCN is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test completed within the last year.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians and other providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties as needed.
