Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, and document patient information within the LPN scope of practice.

We offer competitive pay at $37-$39 per hour, same-day or next-day pay with RapidPay, a signing bonus after two shifts, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling. Local applicants only; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation; no weight restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
