Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA seeks experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads. The role covers various facilities with per diem shifts and competitive pay.

You will administer medications, provide nursing care, document patient information, and coordinate with healthcare teams. Applicants must have an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility experience, current BLS/CPR, and meet physical requirements. Local applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
