Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads, VA. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, document patient information, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

The role offers per diem hours with competitive pay of $37-$39 per hour, weekly pay, and optional same-day or next-day pay via RapidPay. Flexible scheduling and local staffing coordinators support you.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• TB test (PPD) within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
