Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a per diem Health Screening Technician to perform biometric screenings at client sites, including finger sticks, BMI, blood pressure, and basic health coaching. Travel to screening events is required, and you will maintain accurate records while ensuring safety protocols.

You will work flexible hours in the Lincoln area, with opportunities to choose your own schedule and contribute to high-quality community health services under HIPAA and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional health care setting.
• Fingerstick completed within the last 1–2 years.
• Proficient with finger stick blood collection methods and manual blood pressure.
• CardioChek Plus experience preferred.
• Skills for proper specimen and reagent handling, labeling, processing, transportation and storage.

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric screenings at client sites including finger stick blood collection, BMI, blood pressure, height/weight.
• Provide basic health coaching based on screening results.
• Perform basic waived testing procedures using CardioChek Plus and complete required quality control.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures to prevent exposure to potentially infectious agents.
