Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. Per diem roles offer flexible scheduling and per diem pay, with same-day or next-day pay options.

Hospitals and facilities in the Hampton Roads area rely on FCN for reliable LPN coverage. Candidates must have an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and a recent PPD. Local applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
