Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Laboratory Technologist for the Chemistry/Hematology STAT Lab in the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. This per diem role supports the Emergency Department with automated and manual testing to deliver timely diagnostic data in a fast-paced pediatric setting.

You will join a hospital-wide laboratory team, holding a B.S. in Medical Technology (or equivalent), NYS licensure, and ASCP certification. Weekend shifts are required, with at least two shifts per month.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• New York State licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT).
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Perform automated and manual tests in Chemistry and Hematology for STAT Lab operations.
• Support Emergency Department diagnostics with timely data.
