Responsibilities

• Process specimens (COVID swabs, blood, urine, etc.) as appropriate.
• Retrieve and provide data as appropriate and operate data entry tasks.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment per established safety guidelines.
• Receive and process specimens from Inpatient units, Outpatients, and regional facilities.
• Evaluate specimens for adequacy and accuracy—ensure labeling is correct.
