Job summary

The Arc Erie County NY is seeking a part-time Janitorial Contract Cleaner to perform janitorial work at multiple sites in the Buffalo, NY area. The role offers per diem shifts up to 20 hours per week, typically Monday-Friday with possible weekend/holiday sites.

Responsibilities include general cleaning, restocking, trash removal, and use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums and buffers. Prior janitorial experience preferred, HS diploma or GED not required. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn janitorial duties and operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of offices, restrooms, entrances and stairwells.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Empty trash and replace liners; clean receptacles.
• Use vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, buffers and other power tools as required.
• Dust office furniture; perform specialized cleaning of carpets, floors, walls and windows.
• Clean windows and windowsills; wear PPE.
• Maintain janitor closets in clean, safe condition.
