Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH is seeking an Invasive Cardiovascular Technology Specialist (CVT) to assist in cardiovascular procedures in scrub and monitoring roles. This position provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and participates in quality improvement activities.

Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in cardiovascular technology or equivalent, RCIS by hire or within one year, BLS and ALS certifications within 1 year, and basic computer skills.

Competenze

• Associates Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent. RCIS is required by hire or within one year.
• BLS and ALS certifications required within 1 year of hire.
• ARRT(CI) certification preferred; radiology training acceptable.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Mansioni

• Assist in sterile field and maintain sterile conditions during procedures.
• Practice radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice.
• Assist in documentation of procedure details and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes.
• Participate in pre-verification checklists and time outs.

Formazione

Associates Degree in Cardiovascular Technology

RCIS certification (required by hire or within 1 year)

ARRT(CI) preferred

High school diploma with 800 clinical hours in invasive cardiovascular technology

BLS certification

ALS certification within 1 year of hire

Basic computer skills (MS Word/Excel/Outlook)
