Job summary

AdvisaCare is seeking a skilled RN Infusion Specialist to administer home infusion therapies, draw labs, and maintain complete medication profiles. The role emphasizes compassionate, organized care with EMR documentation and coordination of appointments.

You will work in patients’ homes, monitor vital signs, provide hydration/TPN, and respond to emergencies, with training available for qualified candidates. Excellent pay and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• RN with state license required.
• Two years clinical experience incl. infusion therapy.
• Experience documenting in EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer infusion therapies in home settings.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Administer infusion therapies in the home

• Maintain accurate medication profiles and communicate potential interactions to pharmacists and physicians
• Receive orders and coordinate patient appointments
• Check vital signs, administer therapies, and monitor patient responses
• Provide treatments including hydration, TPN, medications, and solutions
• Maintain accurate records using the EMR
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations with outside assistance when needed

Education and Experience:

• RN with state license required.
• At least two years of clinical experience that includes training in infusion therapy.
• We will train an otherwise competent candidate.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Prolonged periods of standing, bending and reaching.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
