Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from ACPE-accredited pharmacy school.
• Current Illinois Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Proficient computer skills with pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense medication orders to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and pharmacokinetic dosing.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize regimens for hospitalized patients.
• Monitor patient outcomes and medication safety, identifying and preventing adverse drug events.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring compliant workflow.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance (Joint Commission, state and federal).
