Salinas Valley Health Environmental Services is seeking an Environmental Services Aide (Per Diem) in Salinas, CA. You will support cleaning, restocking and organizing patient areas to maintain a sanitary and welcoming hospital environment.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to follow established procedures. Per diem shifts offer flexible scheduling to support hospital operations and patient care across departments.

Formación

• High school education or GED preferred.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Manual dexterity of all limbs.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Ability to perform strenuous work assignments for long periods.
• Ability to operate complex machines and equipment related to housekeeping functions.

Responsabilidades

• Cleans and restocks all carts and equipment at the end of shift.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep, dust and wet mop, moving furniture and equipment as needed.
• Removes trash from waste containers.
• Restocks supplies of soap, tissue, towels, gloves, and other disposable items.
• Reports furniture, light fixtures and other items in need of repair to the supervisor.
• Collects and transports soiled linen.
• Reports any unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately to supervisor.
