Job summary

Mission Hospice & Home Care serves patients in the San Francisco Peninsula and South Bay with quality end-of-life care and education. This per diem Hospice Aide position provides personal care services to patients and families in a compassionate team.

Schedule is per diem, 7:30am–3:30pm, with at least 6 shifts per month; location includes San Mateo County and occasional coverage to San Ramon. Must have HHA license and CA HHA certification to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved HHA training program.
• Current Home Health Aide certification to practice in California is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed.
• Assist patient in and out of bed and with ambulation.
• Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linens.
• Assist with prescribed exercises as directed.
