Job summary

Emerging Health seeks a Per diem Home Infusion Registered Nurse to join our Bend, Oregon team. You will provide nursing services to patients at home following each patient’s care plan, travel within the Bend region, and participate in ongoing education and quality initiatives.

The ideal candidate has an Oregon RN license, at least 1 year infusion experience, CPR, and strong communication and organizational skills to support our patients through infusion therapies and education.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Oregon RN license.
Minimum of one year infusion nursing experience.
Active CPR card and health certificate.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Good time management and organizational abilities.
Proficient with word processing, internet, and email.

Responsibilities

Maintain clinical records for each patient receiving infusion therapy.
Provide progress reports to physicians when patient conditions change.
Adhere to pharmacy policies and patient care policies.
Perform initial assessments and develop a care plan addressing physical, psychosocial, economic, and environmental status.
Regularly reassess patient condition and update the care plan and documentation.
Carry out procedures and treatments per department standards with competency.
Deliver services requiring substantial nursing skill and preventive nursing procedures.
Educate patients and families about plan of care and IV therapy complications.
Participate in Performance Improvement activities and committee work as requested.
