Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist, SLP, for a per diem home health role serving the Raleigh-Durham Senior Living office. You will perform home visits, assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing issues, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support independent living at home.

NC licensure is required with ASHA CCC-A or eligibility; prior home care experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Current NC Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• ASHA CCC-A or eligibility to sit for the exam.
• Experience in home care is a plus but not required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform thorough evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Continually assess and revise the speech therapy care plan.
• Educate patients and family on rehabilitative care and activities.
• Document observations, interventions and evaluations in EMR.
