Job summary

Caring Hand Home Health Solutions, Inc. is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse in California to join our home health team. You will review OASIS assessments, ensure accurate ICD-10 coding, and collaborate with clinical staff to support patient care and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of home health experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Per visit compensation ranges from $110 to $130.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license in good standing.
• 1–2 years of clinical home health experience.
• Working knowledge of OASIS assessments and ICD-10 coding.
• Familiarity with federal regulations and state licensure requirements.
• Strong communication and detail orientation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic health records.
• CPR certification (AHA) current.

Responsibilities

• Review OASIS assessments for completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure accurate ICD-10 coding based on patient conditions.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve documentation gaps.
• Monitor visit utilization and flag risks to management.
• Identify trends impacting outcomes and process measures.
• Conduct inter-rater reliability visits with the team.
• Participate in Quality Improvement and Corporate Compliance activities.
• Pursue ongoing education and professional development.
• Perform other duties as required for patient services.
