Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• Current and valid NYS Registered Nurse License
• 3–5 years in clinical nursing
• 1–2 years in community health nursing
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned
• Assist Director in establishing, monitoring and evaluating standards of patient care with measurable outcomes
• Oversee twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) day coverage of nursing staff
• Assess patients and families in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Collaborate on assessment of patient status and risk management issues
• Lead in the absence of the Director and ensure safe age-appropriate patient care
