Job summary

Helping U Homecare in New York, NY seeks compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to join our team on a per diem basis. You’ll provide personal care, daily living support, and assist with medications under supervision of a licensed nurse.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as HHA or PCA in New York state.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including assistance with daily living activities, wound care, and medication management
• Develop and implement personalized care plans that promote patient independence and well-being
• Foster strong relationships with patients and their families, providing emotional support and companionship
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and families
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and advancements
