Job summary

Providence Health Plan Group is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Per Diem General Cardiologist to join a highly skilled team at the Providence Heart Institute of Montana. The position offers a flexible Per Diem schedule and the option for remote imaging reading.

The ideal candidate will possess formal training in echocardiography and demonstrate compassion and excellence in clinical experience. Benefits include eligibility for retirement plans while working in beautiful Missoula.

Responsibilities

• Read echo and TEE for patients.
• Participate in a flexible Per Diem schedule.
• Optionally read imaging remotely when off-campus.

Seeking board-eligible/board-certified Per Diem General Cardiologist to join a top-notch, highly skilled team of 14 Cardiologists and 3 Cardiothoracic Surgeons at the Providence Heart Institute of Montana, located in the Providence St. Patrick Hospital. This 253-bed Level II trauma center has received the Premier Award for quality for Acute Myocardial Infarction as well as the Gold Seal of Approval for Stroke Centers. Job Details

• Flexible Per Diem schedule
• Option to add remote reading of imaging when not on campus
• 24-hour Hospitalist coverage
• Responsibilities will include reading echo (including TEE)
• Formal training and expertise in echocardiography required
• Nuclear cardiology background a plus
• Ideal candidate will be motivated, compassionate and have an excellent background in both training and clinical experience
