Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current Physician Assistant certification/licensure.
• Current state PA license, if applicable.
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat primary care and urgent care patients.
• Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory studies.
• Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice and applicable state regulations.
• Perform common office-based procedures as appropriate to training and scope of practice.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens when clinically indicated.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Manage acute illnesses, minor injuries, and routine primary care conditions.
• Recognize conditions requiring physician consultation, specialist referral, or emergency care.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical records.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, medical assistants, nurses, laboratory personnel, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide professional, compassionate, and respectful patient care.
• Follow all applicable clinical, regulatory, and safety standards.
