Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses for Per Diem hospital opportunities. Choose shifts that fit your availability while working with a local staffing team that provides competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and support from 5:00 AM-11:30 PM.

Shifts include 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM with daily pay via RapidPay and weekly pay options. Requirements include active RN license, 2+ years ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS

Qualifications

Active RN license required.
Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
Triage and prioritise patient needs.
Administer medications and treatments.
Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
Complete required assessments and documentation.
Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice.
