Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas to maintain sanitary and aseptic conditions using approved germicides.
• Restock dispensers and remove trash from containers.
• Perform high dusting, bathroom cleaning, and general cleaning in offices and lounges.
• Follow safety guidelines when handling hazardous chemicals, radiation, or bloodborne substances.
• Operate or assist with equipment while avoiding carelessness that could cause minor injuries.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders or stairs as needed.

Job description

Responsible for keeping assign areas clean, sanitary and aseptic by scouring, scrubbing, mopping and polishing using approved germicides and cleaners. Removes trash from containers. Performs high dusting spot cleaning, bathroom cleaning, restock all dispensers through out facility, clean offices, utility rooms, lounges and all other rooms as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Works with equipment or performs procedures where carelessness would probably result in minor cuts, bruises or muscle pulls.
• Works in an area in which there is exposure to hazardous chemicals or carcinogenic agents which requires caution and use of established safety guidelines and equipment.
• Works in an area in which there is exposure to radiation which requires caution and use of established safety guidelines and equipment.
• Work requires exposure to blood and various body fluids which requires caution and use of established safety guidelines and equipment.
• Works in an area that is very uncomfortable because of extreme temperatures, noise levels, odors or other similar conditions.
• Work requires handling of hot liquids, toxic or flammable chemicals, or contaminated materials which requires caution and use of established safety guidelines and equipment.
• Lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Standing for more than two hours at a time.
• Climbing, ascending or descending ladders, scaffolding, or ramps.
• Stooping or bending.
• Manual dexterity, reach and grasp objects.
• Color vision – the ability to identify and distinguish colors.
• Ability to hear and communicate orally.
• Pushing or pulling supply carts.
