Job summary

AMSURG in Edison, NJ is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to assist in patient preparation for designated procedures, complete slips, and support the endoscopy team with sterile equipment and supplies. You will work closely with nurses and physicians to maintain high safety standards, perform aseptic cleaning, manage supplies, and participate in QAPI and safety programs.

Per diem Saturdays are required; pay rate is $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
• Able to work effectively in a team with nurses and physicians.
• Good communication and English language skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patient for designated procedures as requested.
• Accurately complete laboratory slips and culture/path slips.
• Restock supplies after procedures and maintain endoscopy inventory.
• Disinfect and sterilize instruments and supplies per policy.
• Ensure a safe environment and adherence to aseptic techniques.
