Job summary

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, coordinating with physicians on care plans, leading a responder team, and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Responds to life-threatening, emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Coordinate response activities with physicians to develop a plan of care.
• Lead a team of responders to conduct triage, develop treatment plans, and prepare patients for transport.
• Ensure proper functioning and inventory of emergency medical equipment and vehicles.
• Perform related administrative tasks and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Interacts with firefighters, law enforcement and other personnel at scenes.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations for infection control and hazardous materials.
• Respond to multiple casualty incidents and coordinate medical oversight, triage, care, and transport.
• Operate ambulance and medical care tools in response situations.
