Job summary

Atria Health Institute in Beverly Hills invites a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician to join our urgent care and home‑visit program. The role collaborates with internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, and other specialties to deliver proactive, concierge‑style care to members.

You will perform urgent care in the home or at the institute, handle minor procedures, manage rapid assessments, and participate in after-hours weekend calls—compensation is $200/hr on a 1099 basis.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• ACLS and PALS certification required
• Residency trained and ABEM board certified
• 5 years of ER experience preferred
• Experience with point of care ultrasound and diagnostic testing preferred
• Athena experience preferred
• Concierge medicine experience preferred
• Availability to take at least 1 shift per week

Responsibilities

• Deliver urgent care and home services to Atria members
• Collaborate with all Atria physicians to triage and plan for urgent concerns

• Stabilize patient and refer/admit/transfer as needed

About the Role

The role of Urgent Care physician is to deliver urgent care and home services to Atria members. You will work closely with all specialties (Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Movement/Physical therapy) to deliver care as requested by members and deemed necessary by their corresponding CMO(Chief Medical Officer).

Job Duties

• Working in conjunction with the Director of Home Services and Urgent care in LA you would deliver and supervise care to meet the urgent and home needs of pediatric and adult members of Atria.
• Collaborate with all Atria physicians to help to triage and plan for new urgent concerns and after evaluation to ensure seamless follow up.
• Work shifts to see patients in the home or in the institute providing thorough and thoughtful care within a reasonable response time.
• Able to stabilize or attend to the patient’s basic needs and refer patients to a specialist, admit, or transfer the patient as necessary.
• Able to quickly assess a patient’s condition with very little information, make a preliminary diagnosis, and immediately begin treating a patient.
• Utilize our state of the art lab, imaging center and diagnostic equipment (point of care sonogram, mobile spirometry etc) and continue to innovate to provide best in class medical care.
• Liaising with other medical (MA/RN/ACP) and non-medical staff (Care Coordination, Hospitality) in the company to ensure quality treatment and working together as a team.
• Providing Home Care Services for minor procedures, such as insertion of peripheral IV for medication administration, wound care, vaccinations, and phlebotomy.
• Blood draws and IV insertion expected to be regular, must be excellent in these skills
• Be available to respond to requests for house calls within a reasonable response time.
• Be available to take weekend calls at least once a month

Compensation: $200/hr, paid 1099

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• ACLS certified, PALS certified
• Residency trained and board certified in Emergency Medicine by ABEM.
• 5 years of emergency room experience preferred.
• Experience with point of care ultrasound and diagnostic testing preferred (e.g. biofire).
• Experience with Athena preferred, but not required.
• Prior concierge medicine experience preferred, but not required.
• Availability to take at least 1 shift a week to maintain competency in our systems.
